"There's one in all of us"

Films: Animal (2014)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Forest

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: It's a classic tale of people who got lost in the woods, and encountered the unknown. But in this case, there is no Sasquatch or anything like that. Not even a human serial killer. What we have here has never been seen before. And hopefully, no living soul will ever see it again. For it could be the very last thing anyone sees...

History: In the forest, there are creatures living in the shadows. They defy most classification, and no one knows if they're just rare predators or something else entirely. Either way, a bunch of youths looking for a good time in the woods are in for an unpleasant surprise when they start dropping like flies at the gnashing teeth of one of these animals. Or more...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The first animal is doused in kerosene and left to be incinerated in a burning cabin, while the next one gets run over by a car. Either way, there is only one human survivor. Back in the forest, another animal arrives, and begins calling the rest of the pack. No one is coming to this area anytime soon...

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Part of what makes these animals so scary is that they look less like animals and more like demons that crawled out of a disturbed camper's mind. With their overly long fangs and near-hairless bodies, there's no true way to accurately describe what they are. Unless you're comfortable with "utterly ravenous" and "psychotically persistent". And keep in mind, there's more of them where those three came from...

Trivia: -Only two suits for the animal were made. One so that it could get run over, and another for the last one.

-Apparently, one of the actors lost their voice for a whole day after breathing in flare smoke. As if being around monstrous creatures wasn't harrowing already.

And BOY, it does not hold back.
First hunting. Then roaring. THEN feeding.
Remember. He got maced in this scene. No excuse to be rude when you're hungry.

Times are tough for monster parents the world over.
